Petra is an ancient city that lies in present-day Jordan and dates back to the fourth century B.C. The site was lost for thousands of years and then rediscovered in the 19th century. Ruins of the once-great metropolis and trading center now serve as an important archaeological site and tourist attraction. Petra is 150km away from Jerusalem, and can be reached from Eilat as well.
The site was named one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World” and is widely popular among tourists. Petra is frequently included in our incentive programs and becomes one of the highlights of our tours.
